Spiritual Science

 Here's a thought.  One I've never had before.  But maybe you all thought of it, and I'm just slow. :} 

 Heat expands things, and cold contracts things, could this scientific principal be applied to the Spiritual? 
 

 God wants us to be on fire for Him, so if we're 'on fire for the Lord' wouldn't that expand Christ in us? 

 And if we're 'luke warm' or cold in our Spiritual walk, wouldn't that contract God in us? as in make Him smaller? 

 Shouldn't we be going on the assumption that it does work that way in the Spiritual, and be on fire for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ?
